WHere are you based??

I am currently based in Tallinn, Estonia, although I do frequent to Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Lisbon, and St. Petersburg, which are all pretty close.

DO YOU TRAVel internationally for work?

Yes. I love to travel any chance I get.

DO YOU SPEAK OTHER LANGUAGES?

Yes, I do, although English is my primary language. I also speak Russian fluently. A while back I studied Estonian, Spanish and Portuguese in university. I do dabble in Swedish, Korean and Turkish once in a while. I love languages. Feel free to write to me in any language, I will try my best to communicate back.

WHAT IS AN ELOPEMENT? ARE THOSE COMMON IN TALLINN?

To my dismay people on this side of the world have no idea what elopements are. As I recently came to find out neither do my coworkers who have had experience in media for more than a decade. I found that very weird and interesting. I guess we do not have that in our culture for people to run away with a photographer to another state or even country, just to celebrate them being joined together. They say “If it’s a trend in the US it will get to us in 10 years”.. fun fact.. it’s been 10+ years and no one is eloping, and if they are, they’re doing it without a photographer. Time for change.

Elopements are not common in Tallinn, but it’s a perfect runaway location if you are interested in eloping, especially if you have never been here before. So do it!

DO YOU TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY? WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

Yes! We love any chance to visit a new place. We have a package specifically for elopements in international destinations (inquire for more details). We’ve shot in faraway lands such as Patagonia, Chile and Mendoza Argentina as well as Morocco, Italy, Bolivia, and Switzerland. Travel rates are based on the destination and include roundtrip flights for two photographers, three to four nights stay, and local means of travel (rental car, bus/train, guide).

As a side note, we pride ourselves on finding ridiculously cheap flight deals and using our travel points to make our accommodations more reasonably priced. We always wanna make it worth it for you, so we usually throw in an extra lil’ adventure photo sesh if you’re covering our travel costs overseas.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?

Because our travel schedule & pricing structure is constantly evolving, we generally don't book weddings & elopements more than 18 months out (with the exception of international destination weddings). We typically book stateside elopements anywhere from 2-12 months out. We like to leave room in our schedule for last minute elopements too, so even if you're planning to elope in the next few weeks, definitely reach out! We might have a space just for you.

WHAT'S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU?

As a team, we shoot together on wedding days & during sessions. Megan brings the direction & Nate brings the vibes. Both of us shoot photos, getting all the different angles and capturing different moments that might be going on at the same time. Megan handles editing, social media, and she's usually who you'll talk to if you email. Nate does website work, handles taxes, and drives us all around. Megan is the face-to-face, Nate is the brains behind the operation. We have our system dialed in, so things are seamless on a wedding day.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU USUALLY DELIVER?

This varies by session & time, but larger weddings range anywhere from 400-800 photos and elopements range from 200-400 photos. Couples sessions are typically around 100. We believe in quality over quantity and we aim to deliver the best of the best photos from your day.

DO YOU OFFER PRINTS & ALBUMS? DO WE HAVE TO PRINT THROUGH YOU?

We'll deliver your photos in an online gallery where you have the option to purchase professional quality prints, announcements, and frames through one of the best print labs in the US. We also offer archival heirloom albums. Feel free to email us for specifics on albums! You don't have to print through us if you have a local lab you prefer. You're given printing rights along with your gallery.

DO YOU OFFER FULL-WEEKEND COVERAGE?

Yes. This is something we prioritize and want to be part of. When we got married, our photographer was with us the whole time – he roadtripped with us from Texas to California and spent the full weekend hanging out with us and our guests. Those photos of the road trip and events with our family the day prior to the wedding are some of my favorite memories. Because we are storytellers at heart, we want to tell the full deal – before & after and in-between and all. This type of coverage works well if you're camping out with your friends the night before, or traveling to a destination with all of your family, or backpacking to a spot for your adventure elopement. We want to capture it all.
