I didn’t start to maternity and pregnancy photoshoots until I got pregnant myself. Suddenly, out of nowhere people started requesting and slowly booking pregnancy shoots. I was so shocked, as if being pregnant gave you the right to take photos of bellies and mothers with their newborns. My thoughts on the matter were that people felt secure and comfortable enough knowing that the photographer knew and went through similar experiences in life. I don’t know really. What do you think makes people trust photographers?
